Notice is hereby given that the Port Arthur Economic Development Corporation (PAEDC), a Texas nonprofit 4A economic development corporation, proposes to expend 4B funds for the project described below to support the development of aUordable housing in Port Arthur, Texas. The PAEDC will hold a public hearing on this project on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at 501 Procter St., Port Arthur, TX 77640.
Down Payment Assistance for the Downtown Homeownership and Redevelopment Program — Provide down payment assistance of $30,000 per qualified homebuyer for up to six homes during a one-year period to support home purchases in the downtown area between Lakeshore Drive and Houston Avenue.
