PUBLIC NOTICE

INVITATION TO BIDDERS

Sealed proposals addressed to the City of Port Neches, Jefferson County, 1005 Merriman, Port Neches, Texas 77651; will be received at the City of Port Neches, City Hall; for furnishing all necessary materials, equipment, superintendence, and labor for the evaluation and repairs of pumps, motors and other appurtenances, for one calendar year beginning May 1, 2026 and ending April 30, 2027.

Bids will be received until April 20, 2026 at 2:00 p.m., at the City Secretary’s Office, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bids received after closing time will be returned unopened.

The right is reserved by the City of Port Neches, as it’s interest may require, to accept or reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in the bids received.

There will be a MANDATORY pre-bid conference with the Owner and Prospective Bidders at 10:00 a.m., on April 15, 2026 at the City of Port Neches, City Hall Council Chambers, 1005 Merriman, Port Neches, Texas 77651.

The Contract Documents, including the Plans and Specifications, are on file and may be examined at the City of Port Neches City Hall. Copies may be secured from Holly Alexander, City Secretary, at no cost.

Bids may be held by the City of Port Neches for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder’s qualifications prior to the contract award.
